I’ve read the other threads on this topic, but they are closed and don’t have any actionable advice. On the primary site, I can use the cache purge links. On the secondary site, I cannot. I’m using my Super Admin account. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Hello,
If you are using multisite, go to Performance –> General Settings Tab, scroll down to the Miscellaneous section near the bottom. There, you need to uncheck “Use single network configuration file for all sites.” You need to have a separate config for each site.
Save all settings and purge caches.

That does not fix the error, unfortunately.

    Hello,
Can you please provide us with exact links that you can’t use so we can try to replicate and fix the issue?

I did as you suggested and unchecked “Use single network configuration file for all sites.”

    1.
On the primary domain, I click this Purge All Caches link in the admin bar:
    https://www.primarydomain.com/wp-admin/network/admin.php?page=w3tc_dashboard&w3tc_flush_all&_wpnonce=9e99dd0d2c

When I use this I get this message telling me I need to purge again ?? :
“The setting change(s) made either invalidate the cached data or modify the behavior of the site. now to provide a consistent user experience.”

    2.
On the secondary domain, I click this Purge All Caches link in the admin bar:
    https://www.primarydomain.com/wp-admin/network/admin.php?page=w3tc_dashboard&w3tc_flush_all&_wpnonce=9689436a27

When I use this I get this error message:
“The link you followed has expired.”

    3.
On either site, if I go to the W3TC dashboard and click the “empty all caches” button (or any of the others in that set), they work as expected.

Hey Marko, I too have a multisite setup, am using W3 Total Cache and get the same error on a child site, not on the parent, only when using the purge all caches link on the WordPress admin bar when visiting the site.

I too, followed your instructions, but they had no effect whatsoever.

    Hello @mofeenster,
This is a known issue with multisite. This will be fixed in future releases.
