Restrict straight file access

I think this plugin with shortcode add-on has great potential to be number one file admin in WP, but one major feature is missing: restrict the file/folder access without logging in.

I understand the advanced file manager itself can be restricted with shortcode, but if the actual files are reachable anyway with direct url or by search engines, this can’t be used as a serious extranet/intranet solution.

Or is it just me who is missing this feature, am I doing something wrong?
