    I have tried to export from one website and import to my new website and the import will not work.
    I have turned off all plugins except Woocommerce, cleared cache and still nothing. I have changed the theme to Seven Nineteen, plugins off and still no good.

    When I start the import, it says products are importing but nothing happens, the box that shows progress bar doesn’t show anything happening.

    Even more strange is that it says I have 170 products in total, however, my published and draft products don’t even add up to 170 products. It shows I have published and drafts because I am in the process of doing it manually but every time I try to import, my TOTAL products number keeps going up but there is no data, no products being imported. If I click on the total products, it doesn’t show any empty products or anything like that, it just shows whats published, nothing extra or weird.

    I have also tried chopping the original export file down into smaller chunks in case it was something to do with size [I only have 174 products in total, so not a huge amount] and still won’t work.

    I am at a loss, any help would be appreciated. I did the first website with the hope of exporting and importing to the new website [one is for customers and one for my reps] and we only just launched on 1st Feb, assuming I could just do the import and all would be ready, however, it’s taking me days to manually do it all again.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for reaching out!

    I understand that you’re having a hard time importing products from a .csv file which was exported from a different site.

    Is the site these products were exported from also a WooCommerce site? Have you tried opening the .csv file in Google Sheets or Excel next to a sample .csv file and comparing the formatting?

    Also, are you seeing any related error logs in WooCommerce >> Status >> Logs?

    It’s hard to say what’s happening with the current amount of information so please head to WooCommerce >> Status, copy the System Status Report and paste it here.
