Plugin also blocks direct links for logged in users

    When users try to access a group or any other page directly, they will still be asked to login again. Unless they start from homepage.

    Eg

    site.com/groups/timetravelers

    The site will still require login for already logged in users.

    But if they go to the home page they can navigate to the group.

    Why can’t users be detected as logged in and can access and link directly

    No this is not the case, at least not on several plain buddypress installs that I have ested this plugin on, I am happy to furnish login credentlials to said sites to demonstrate.

    This is likely another (poorly written) plugin causing the problem. Have you tried deactivating the others to track down the culprit?
