Does a member deleting their account cancel their STRIPE subscription too

  • A member who subscribed using the Stripe button would like to cancel their membership. If they use the Delete Account link, will that also stop the subscription payment automatically or do I have to still go into Stripe and cancel?

    I have seen that article and it refers to cancelling as a merchant. I’m asking whether the subscribed member can do it via the delete account function. Which is not addressed in that article unless I have misread.

    I believe it also applies to the member deleting their account. This should also cancel the account in Stripe.

    Report back if the subscription is not cancel when a member deletes their account in your site.
