Enable enhanced ecommerce or not?

    Hello!
    I have a wordpress site with woocommerce. I have installed both woocommerce gtm plugin and woocommerce enhanced ecommerce plugin. I first installed the woocommerce enhanced ecommerce plugin and followed all the steps according the images at the bottom of this page:

    When I go into the gtm plugin I can see that under “integration” there is an option that says:

    “Choose this option if you would like to track e-commerce data using enhanced ecommerce tracking. This plugin is active, it is strongly recommended to enable this integration!”

    I am a bit confused. Do I need to check this box as well in order for enhanced e-commerce to work? I can see that I have all the reports in google analytics, but I have no data yet so I dont know if its working.
