Microsoft Office 365 has announced they’re ending support for 3DES this month, and while I have every confidence that WP Mail SMTP stays up to date on their TLS encryption cyphers, I would like to be able to put a client’s mind at ease with a definitive answer.

    Thanks,
    Grant

    Hi,

WP Mail SMTP does not manipulate TLS at all.
While connecting to a SMTP or any API servers to send an email it uses certificates and encryption that is available on a server itself, that means on your and your clients’ servers.

If those servers are configured properly and up-to-date with valid certificates and latest versions of TLS encryption ciphers – all is good.
