WordPress blog, photo gallery vlog?

  • I’m creating a new website and installed wordpress on my server to run the blog. Now I’m starting to consider using wordpress to power my entire site if possible.
    In addition to a text blog, I want to have a separate page that’s a photo gallery (preferably with RSS enabled). Initially, I was going to just post the photos on flickr and make a page that would call for the flickr photos and display them using something like mediabox without links to external pages. I guess I could still do that in wordpress, but what do you think would be the best way to create a photo gallery in wordpress? I don’t want to create new posts in my regular blog with pictures in them, I want the photo gallery to be completely separate.
    Similarly, I’d like to have a video blog on another separate page, preferably with an RSS feed also.
    Are both of these possible to accomplish on wordpress? If so, could you give me some pointers? It’s much appreciated.

    A Gallery like Coppermine and then get one of the Coppermine plugins that fills your needs

    or

    have a look at some of the Gallery plugins for WordPress such as NextGen Gallery, this is what I use, if you want to see how I have used it go to My site
