Is there a well-maintained alternative?

I’ve inherited a site with WP Multisite SSO, and it’s now throwing a ton of errors in the JS console. Since it appears to have been abandoned, does anyone know of a plugin that performs the same function, but is actively maintained?

I am also looking for a similar alternative solution.
It was discussed on this thread but the gentleman used a custom plugin.
