After activating HTTPS REDIRECTION my WP Multisite has been down – none of the sites respond. I don’t know how to get it back on again… I have removed the plugin, but they are still down…

    Please help.

Hi, please carry out the following steps:

Step #1: Open .htaccess file in the root directory of the WordPress install and delete everything between the following two lines

    # BEGIN HTTPS Redirection Plugin
    # END HTTPS Redirection Plugin

Step #2: Save the htaccess file (this will erase any change this plugin made to that file).

Step #3: Deactivate the plugin or rename this plugin’s folder (which will deactivate the plugin).

Let me know if you need more help.

    Kind regards

Thank you. Sites are up and running again.

BUT: They are full of SSL errors, which is why I was recommended HTTPS REDIRECTION.

Doesn’t HTTPS REDIRECTION work with Multisite?
Do you have any idea why my entire multisite installation crashed upon installing HTTPS REDIRECTION?

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi,

BUT: They are full of SSL errors, which is why I was recommended HTTPS REDIRECTION.

Why are you having so many SSL issues? You need to investigate this further or else you will run into others issues down the track.

Doesn’t HTTPS REDIRECTION work with Multisite?

As far as I know it should work with multisite networks.

Do you have any idea why my entire multisite installation crashed upon installing HTTPS REDIRECTION?

No, unfortunately I have never tested our plugin in a multisite network.

    Kind regards
