    Hello,

My wordpress website seems to block all external page requests. When loaded it says: failed to connect to [whatever you asked it to load] port 443: Connection refused. Before using HTTPS it was port 80. This means it also blocks my payments provider gateway. Is it possible to allow external page requests?

    Thanks in advance

You mean your site can’t make *outbound* connections to 443 or incoming connections fail? If it’s outbound connections, then there’s a firewall on your server blocking them. Have you contacted your host?

A later thought: If this is an outbound connection to an https site and your connection is refused, it may be that your server does not have the right versions of the openSSL software installed. Again, this is a “contact your host” issue.
