Posts categories

1. I can’t categorize the posts.
2. And slider not showing too.

1. I could only categorize the right side bar posts, but can’t categorize the others. There are two column posts. One should have a heading like News, the other should Trending but the categories can’t show up at the top of each posts. I want more categories like Interviews, Analysis and others. I am so confused on how to categorize the posts.
2. I want to feature 3 posts for the slider but slider is not showing up after turning on the feature. How could I make the slider to show up and feature the 3 posts I want in the slider.
