preventing duplicate RSVP entries

    Question,

    I am using the FREE Version of the plugin
    after people RSVP for an event they are taken to a page
    that does have their info on the top, but the RSVP form appears
    again under that, and people keep filling it out and RSVPing again

    … is their any way to not have the form appear again ?
    people are getting confused by this, to me it easy but i’m a
    computer person.

    any suggestion idea’s would be appreciated

    Version 5.8.8 changes this. On the confirmation screen, you will see an Update RSVP? link at the bottom of the event content. The form will only be displayed if they click that link (or if they click the Update RSVP button in their confirmation message).

    Thank the new versions did help with most of this matter, but
    as of may 2019, i’m getting people that are registering many
    many times (i had someone register 50 times) trying to fig out
    how they did that unless they maybe kept refreshing screen ?

    but one thing i noticed is that i register a 2nd time and it let me
    … isn’t it supposed to check for duplicated (IE already registered)

    ..or is this something I’m missing, these are not members, just
    people RSVPing for event
