Slider show only first photo on mobile

    Hi,

    I have a slider with 3 images in my home page. It works fine but on mobile I see only the first image.
    I don’t understand the reason.
    Anyone can explain me why?

    Hi,

    You actually have the slideshow duplicated and so one slideshow shows on desktop and the other shows on mobile. The JS script only sees the first one, which is the desktop version.

    To fix it you will just have to create a second, separate slideshow to use on mobile.

    Sorry but I don’t understand. I created only 1 slider for the home page.

    So now I have to create another slideshow with the 3 images for the mobile. is it correct?

    Something with your theme is doing the duplication then. You would have to ask the theme developer how to isolate them. Here’s both slideshows in the markup:

    Do you think that the only way to solve the problem is to ask to the developer?

    That would be the most practical route. I don’t know how the theme was built so unfortunately I won’t have much insight as to how to fix it.

    How specifically are you adding the shortcode to get the slideshow there? Can you share some screenshots?

    Hi @roberta_dropp,

    I’ve never used Customify before but it looks like you are setting the slideshow to both the desktop and the mobile sections. Maybe there’s a setting to have one element show on both without having to add it to both sections? At this point I’m just guessing.

    However, you could take my advice above and create a second slideshow, and add that second slideshow to the mobile layout. It seems that would also solve the issue.

    Unfortunately when I change the code in desktop, it also changes in mobile.
    So I don’t know how add a second slideshow.

    I’m afraid there’s not much more I can offer here as the issue is with that specific builder plugin. Have you tried to contact them?
