Is there any way to create a child post from it’s parent post create screen ?

    I have two custom post types – Projects and Tasks, I want to create Tasks from within the Create Project screen, is there any way in ACF that I could get CREATE TASK form inside the CREATE PROJECT form and can then create TASK type post from there along with the PROJECT post ?

  • Hi,

    If a task doesn’t have a specific page and it’s only related to one project, I recommend the use of ACF Repeater.

    If you want to create a task post type when you create a project, you may look at the save_post hook
