    Hi,

in the screenshot for your theme you show a headline, some copy and a button overlay on the featured image of a page. I cannot find out how to do this. In my webste the headline will always show below the featured image.

Can you please give me hint on how to do this? I am happy to use some custom CSS if needed.

    Thanks,
    Wiebke

    Hi,
I think, I found the way you did it: with a hero block, leaving the page headline empty.

That would mean having no H1 headline on the page as the hero block uses h2 headlines. That would harm the Google rank as it looks for proper headline hierarchy. Not my preferred way to set up a website. Google rank is more important than design.

Is there any other way I could implement a page title overlay on the featured image?

    Thanks,
    Wiebke

    Hi @wiebkewetzel,

I will look into this for you, there should be a way to use a H1 within the hero area.

    Hi Danny,

I am early there. Have a look here.

I used the wrapper block with a background picture, put two headlines in it and edited them in HTML with some inline CSS. The only thing I don’t like here is the empty space above the picture, where the page entry title would normally be. Any hint on how you removed that on the start page of the theme demo would be great.

    Thanks! Wiebke

    Hi @wiebkewetzel,

Do you see this option in the right sidebar?

Checking that should remove most of the space. Also you will need to set the “Margin Top” to 0px on the wrapper block.

    That’s it! Wonderful!
Many thanks for your support and for creating this theme and plugin combination.

No problem! I will try and improve the plugin in future so you don’t have to use these methods.
