Can’t go to next / prev month

    Hello there.

    Since the last update we have not been able to navigate through the calendar by clicking on the arrows, next/prev month names, List, week, or day. Clicking on an event does load up the single event page. There have been no issues with creating events in the backend.

    The site is up to date using wp 5.0.3. There are a couple of other heavy plugins on the site, NextGEN gallery and Popup Maker. The rest are security based and a classic editor.

    Any suggestions? Thanks for any assistance you guys can give – great work! =)

    Hi,

    Please note that the issue can be because of some event in your Calendar.

    Could you please create a new Calendar and add there a test event and check if you still have the issue? If the issue is not there, you can remove the events to trash group by group, and check which event is resulting in the issue. You can restore the events from the Trash then.

    Thank you, I created the second calendar and tested it before creating any events and am experiencing the same issue.

    I started going through some of the newer security plugins we have installed and found the culprit. The bad boy was called “Disable Admin-AJAX” by LittleBizzy. If you’re curious, this is their description of the app, “Completely disables frontend access to admin-ajax.php regardless of Heartbeat settings, to avoid unwanted AJAX calls and vastly improve performance.”
