Since the last upgrade to Version: 8.0 I can not add the malicious IP to the blacklist.
I can’t do this at none of my websites.
    Please give a solution.
    Best regards,
    Alfred

It’s an embarrassing bug. It will be fixed in the next release soon.

@asc1212 Actually, the WP Cerber does it for you, but on a temporary base. Why do you need to block IP addresses permanently in a bulk mode?

    Thanks Gioni

for example to block IP’s that tried to access wp-login or other restricted files.
Temporary in not enough and I would like very much to have this option to decide and block IP’s right from the traffic inspector and do it with multiple pickup instead of doing it one by one in a 2nd screen.

    I do agree with asc1212
Blocking permanently will get the hackers banned and save a lot of serverloads.
Furthermore the select option I will welcome too and wil save a lot of work.
Now I look in the traffic inspector. Look why the IP was temporally blocked and if the IP need a permanentblock I open the Ip row in a new tab and block the IP(-range).
Time consuming indeed, but after some weeks the attacks stops, because the “old” IP’s will not try again.

    Hello,

This should have been done as soon as you saw the mistake (bug) was realized. I was sent here in an email asking what the issue is? Instead of being given an answer politely, sent here.

Cerber has outlived its usefulness. If it is going to premier service then it should have been fixed within 24 hours.

    Good Bye.

Agree with everyone expressing a concern. This was a very useful way to eliminate the repeat offenders and I’m surprised to see an inquiry as to why it’s needed. If it’s not needed than why provide the option to begin with?

The workaround I’ve found is to simply block the perpetrators manually using the HARDENING tab then manually uploading each IP address. This is a pain as it must be done individually. However, at least it does work.

Thanks for a great plugin otherwise. Would be fantastic to get the button back ASAP.

    Thanks.

@laurel1234 No worries, the next release is in the works and will be available in a couple of days. What do you mean by this “using the HARDENING tab then manually uploading each IP address”?

Gioni (@gioni), whoops! I should have said the ACCESS LIST. Since the ‘ADD IP NETWORK TO BLACKLIST’ is not working, I just go to ACCESS LIST and add each IP to the Black List directly. Seems to be working just fine. Just takes significantly longer.

It’s been fixed in the last release.
