I have put together all the patches around on Github I could find via the network analysis, including PHP7 fixes and transaction fixes. Mainly @achmafooma posted these, I have emailed him as well to see what he would like to do.

ok, so you are not the original plugin developer but are happy to take over its management.
that’s great.

Since I’m not a developer (just managing my own business website) and don’t have the time or knowledge to apply the complex paches, coding etc – I will wait for thre new/updated plugin.

For your info however – I have recently updated my site to WP 5.1 and to PHP 7.2.15 – and the current version of the plugin is STILL working.

I have just tested it – broke a link on purpose – and the plugin identified it within less than 5 min.

so far so good but I will keep an eye on your updates.
