Excluded posts and Taxonomies do not Update in Portfolio Layouts Content Source

    Hello. I cannot seem to filter out portfolio galleries by taxonomies, or exclude certain posts, in the Content Source section.

    When I pick a category or several categories in the taxonomies, it shows up correctly in the preview. But when I click update, no change is registered. This leaves me with a page where I’d like only one parent category to display, from my portfolio, display the entire portfolio.

    I will mention that I recently updated to WordPress 5.1.
    Could it be that? This feature worked correctly prior to the update.

    Hi, I’m seeing a similar problem with a site that is still in development.

    Prior to the WordPress 5.1 update it was working perfectly, but now I can no longer add posts in a specific category, instead it defaults to showing all posts when creating new Visual Portfolios. Existing Visual Portfolios are not effected.

    Hopefully an easy fix.

    I’m experiencing the same problem. I’m trying to update my design portfolio and the taxonomies will not stay after saving the updated portfolio layout. It reverts to showings all the filtered tag options instead of the taxonomies I’ve selected. My illustration portfolio is still fine because I haven’t added any new items to it yet. I checked my WordPress version and sure enough, mine was auto updated to WP 5.1

    I’ve been racking my brain all trying to figure out why my mess wasn’t working well the new WP version doesn’t play well at all with Visual Portfolio now smh.

    This bug should be fixed in the latest Visual Portfolio update v1.10.0
