Unclosed Tag crashes article view in WP 5.1

    Hi,
    I know the plugin GALLERY CUSTOM LINKS (which I like a lot!) is not tested with WP 5.1, but here is why it is not working:

    It opens an a-Tag and never cloeses it:
    <a href="https://www.tvcamp.de/alita-battle-angel" target="_self" rel="noopener noreferrer">

    Result – as You can see – in the page-link is the article text is formatted like a link.

    When I use NO CAPTION in the embedded picture – the page displays fine.

    Because it does also when I deactivate the plugin I assume it is a problem with this plugin. Maybe You can take a closer look and show me a soulution, cause I would like to keep using it.

    Hello,

    That’s strange but I am doing it differently now, so that might change things for you. Can you update and try the 1.0.9 version?

    thanks for Your quick reply. I updated the plugin – but the behaviour is still the same:

    The only way to avoid it, is to deacticate the plugin (which would be sad) OR to remove the captions of the embedded pictures – which I did here:
    https://www.tvcamp.de/hard-powder/

    So I’m pretty clueless. Is it possible to provide me with the older versions 1.0.6+1.0.7 so I can try if it is really any behaviour of the plugin?

    Sorry, the last version wasn’t right, it didn’t change anything. I pushed a new update today (1.1.0), can you try it?
