    Hi,

I would like to import a csv file but it’s telling me “File upload failed” (actually in Dutch: Bestand uploaden mislukt.)

Can’t figure out what’s going wrong. I just browse to the csv file, select the status (Confirmed) and the right Group; then click on Import.

It immediate shows “File upload failed”. Nothing has happened. Anyone some idea?

    Best regards,
    Peter.

    Hi @itspetrus

Thank you for contacting Icegram Support. Hope you are doing great.

The error seems like a WordPress error and not specific to Email Subscribers, to fix it please check https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-fix-image-upload-issue-in-wordpress/

Also, to import a list of subscribers, please follow the exact same format of the file as shown here https://www.icegram.com/documentation/es-how-to-import-or-export-email-addresses/

Hope this helps you. Please let me know your views.

    Best,
    Aditya Shah

    Hi,

Thanks for your reply. I do believe it’s specific to Email Subscribers because everywhere else it’s no problem to upload something. However, I checked all permissions but they seem to be alright.

Initially I tried to import the previously created export. According to your example page I need to have just the columns Email and Name. When I alter the file to make it that way, the import throws me a new error: Invalid emailaddress. Which is not the case.

I’m stuck. Any other ideas perhaps?

    Best regards,
    Peter.

    Hi,

I did some more testing. All information has to be comma-separated in one column. Not like in your example with multiple columns. So far, that seems to do the trick.

    Best regards,
    Peter.
