    Hi guys.
Is it me or this shortcode does not work?
I first tried to put it in elementor shortcode widget and it displayed only the title, after that i deleted the title and it doesnt show anything its like it is empty.
I tried also on a test page (the page is the link i submited) and it didnt work there also. Either there is a different way to put this short code (or any shortcode because i haven’t quite worked with shortcodes) or it is some kind of bug. Can you pls tell me what to do ?
    Thanks in advance.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi guys. Its me again.
I am using oceanWP Theme and i tried to add some shortcodes from oceanWP and they work fine only the shortcode ( [woo_cat_slider id=”3702″] )from the plugin does not work so it must be something with the plugin, maybe there is some kind of setting that i need to do that i am not familiar or its a plugin bug.
I am also watching this video and did everything the same but still it does not work.

If you can help that would be great.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

    Sorry for the late reply.

We have visited the link to inspect the issue. We guess there may be a confliction between the theme and the plugin as both of them has the ‘slick’ javascript file. We are working on this plugin to add the setting page including the dequeue option for the ‘slick’ file. It will take time.

If you can dequeue the ‘slick’ file from one of them, the issue may resolve. In this case, if we could look into your Dashboard, we could dequeue you the ‘slick’ file manually from your plugin to fix the issue.

To check the plugin is working normally or not, you can use your staging/developing site and try switching to a default WordPress theme. And, be sure you have some product’s category there. (For mind-satisfaction only ?? )

Hope to hear from you soon.
    Thank you.

Hi uzzal. My theme support had a look at the plugin and they told me this:

That might be the reason. I checked the HTML returned by your shortcode and it didn’t had any slides in it. So, this is definitely not a issue related to Slick JS.

Please ask the plugin developers or check documentation on how to use it with specific categories.

Because the shortcode does not work when i enter my own categories.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi there,

It has been a long time since we heard from you. The issue had been solved almost a month ago in our site’s forum for you. You told that you would come back to us some time later.

However, you were trying to use sub-category with the free version of the plugin and the slider is not working there. Because the plugin does not support sub-category, it can create a slider with the product’s categories only.

Hope the issue is resolved. We are waiting to hear from you soon.

    Thank you.
