• Is there a way to check up if the database has been correctly updated after WP 5.1 update (from 5.0)?
I see a 401 error in Apache log related to
    401 POST /wp-admin/upgrade.php?step=upgrade_db HTTP/1.1

I have received no error during and after the procedure… but i’d like to check if everything is ok.

In the 5.1 announcement post i can read

5.1 introduces a new database table to store metadata associated with sites and allows for the storage of arbitrary site data relevant in a multisite / network context.

… but i cannot find any new table in database

Ah sorry… the new table is related to WP MU, so which database changes have been made on single site WP 5.1 from 5.0 ?
I’d like to check that everything is ok…

    Hi @mulkitpin,
plase check the file located at “/wp-includes/version.php” at the $wp_db_version = [some number value] against the database options table’s options_value. They should have the same number value. If those numbers are not the same, you will probably be prompted with an “Database upgrade required” message on your admin panel, but i guess this is not the case.

Anyway, you can install: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/health-check/ to make sure everything’s ok with your WP installation.

    Thanks Luca
Yes db_version is the same – 44719… so everything should be fine, isn’t?

    Yes it is ??
