How do you make dates into my own language (Norwegian) ?

  • I’ve just started translating my blog into Norwegian. It is the Anvil theme I’m using. And what I do now is open each theme file and edit the english words into Norwegian.

    However, how can you change the langauge of dating?
    Months have different spellings in Norwegian, and I want to change the way they appear too.

    Instead of saying “July 1” I want numbers and name reversed, I hope this is possible.

    Can you download this somewhere, or is it something you must do yourself?

    If you can download it, how does that work? Will my theme be affected in any bad way?
