    Hi Pablo,

I’ve setup the following default statuses for the orders and suborders:

    https://cl.ly/7ec7504b446b

The default sub orders is Set by Payment Gateway. When I make a purchase, suborders are set to Pending Payment. Any reason why this would happen?

Payments are being successful. They should set to Processing.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks in advance!

  • Hello,

What orders are being paid? Suborders or Main orders?
If it’s the main order, please make sure to set the “Copy main order status” option as “Customer” and “Admin”

I actually have the same problem. I have the default suborders status set to “Copy main order status”, but it doesn’t matter if the main order status is “On hold”, “Processing” or something else, the new suborders are always grey “Pending payment”.

Have anyone found a solution for this yet?

This is really an issue, because “Pending payment” orders get cancelled after couple of days of inactivity and setting the payment status manually for every new suborder is really frustrating.

    Thank you.

Hello, is this being working on?
Have you (the plugin author) managed to reproduce the issue or do you need some additional info from us?

    Thanks!

    Hello,
Can you please attach a screenshot of your Status section?

And how orders are paid in general? Each suborder is paid individually by customers or they pay for the the main order?

    Hello,

    sure, here you go:

Basically, I did some color changes, but these are the default WooCommerce statuses. ‘pending-payment’, ‘on-hold’, ‘processing’ and ‘completed’.

Customers pay only for main order. I have the correct setting set in the Multi Order settings. The main order is created with ‘on-hold’ or ‘processing’ payment, based on payment method, but sub-orders are always in ‘pending-payment’ status. The main problem is that these orders are automatically deleted after a couple of days if I don’t change it to higher level (e.g. ‘on-hold’).

I even tried to override the ‘post_status’ arg in create_suborders() function like this:

    But it doesn’t work.

    Ok, thanks.
But could you also attach the screenshot for the settings?

Of course. Do you mean Multi Order settings? Here you go:

Btw. I have tried both settings for default suborder status (Same as main, AND Set by payment gateway). Both cases produced same results.

    Yes, thanks.
Could you please also send the screenshots of the other sections?

Sure, but what other sections do you mean exactly?

    Humm,

Considering the last screenshot you sent, it seems you’re using the free plugin.
The option to copy status from main order is on the premium version.

The premium version has 3 sections on the settings while the free plugin has only one.
Please take a look at the option I’m talking about on premium version:
