• I have two websites that are not being hosted on wordpress.com but rather my own hosting.

    https://www.spiffykerms.com
    https://www.locupleto.spiffykerms.com

Locupleto is the site with the problem. One day I went into it and created a new post and as I came back later on the day to check it, I noticed the left hand menu where the login information, pages, archives etc were missing. Everything but categories has disappeared.

I fiddle around with spiffykerms.com more often than locupleto which is why this has blown my mind as to why it’s not viewable.

I can log into locupleto.com fine as I just enter the url: https://locupleto.spiffykerms.com/wp-login.php but that’s annoying. I’d like to know how I can get my menu back.

Does anyone have any ideas as how I could go about getting the menu back? I don’t know who else to ask for help regarding this issue.

    Please respond?

First, try setting the theme back to the default and see if everything reappears. If it does, rename the theme ~/wp-content/themes/<theme> to ~/wp-content/themes/<theme>_bak and try downloading it again.

If the menus, categories, etc do not come back then you’ll have to tail the error logs. From the command line, run:

    tail -fn0 <path to error log>

Post any errors that you get.

Also, upgrading/reinstalling will fix alot of random quirks.
