Hi,

As per the documentation, I have enabled “Reference Transactions” and “require billing address” on my paypal account and checked the “require billing address” checkbox from settings. But when I add subscription product to my cart, the PPEC buttons don’t appear. They do appear and work well for other simple products.

To test, you can go to https://www.primalurgefoods.com/store/ and add the first product which is a subscription product. I also have enabled show PayPal button on cart page from settings.

Please let me know if there’s any other settings that need doing in order to PPEC buttons to appear on cart page for subscription products.

Thanks for reaching out. PayPal Checkout will not show for subscription products unless PayPal has approved your account for Reference Transactions. Here is a support page that lists all the payment gateways compatible with WooCommerce Subscriptions:

In that support page, you can see the “reference transactions required” for PayPal Checkout that will show you what you need to ask from PayPal to update your PayPal account:

Hi John,

As I stated, the “Reference Transactions” and “require billing address” have already been activated on my PayPal account. But the PPEC buttons do not appear on cart page.

Oversight on my part, my apologies.

I added the PUP Monthly Subscription product to the cart and see that PayPal Checkout is a payment option.

That said, it’s likely that you haven’t enabled PayPal Checkout on the checkout page. Enabling the **PayPal Mark** option will show the payment on the checkout page:
