The miniOrange Google Authenticator is causing problems with with the WP-Members plug-in. When a user logs in through a WP-Members form, she is redirected to the WP-admin page instead of being redirected back to the content page.

I’ve confirmed with the WP-Members author that the user is supposed to be redirected back to the content page. He suggested the following:

However, the WP-Members login process includes the WP login_redirect hook for integration purposes. So you likely have another plugin installed that is hooking to that and redirecting after login. … Something else is likely jumping into the process (see above). You’ll need to track down what that other plugin is and deal with it accordingly.

Can you offer any help to resolve the login_redirect conflict? I’m using the miniOrange Google Authenticator plug-in, ver. 1.0.2 (the one that doesn’t require an account).

    Hi @jonmorrow,

    Thank you for your query.

Yes, our plugin redirects the user to the admin dashboard by default. We can fix this for you but it might require some changes in the plugin. So can you please contact us at
[email protected] so that we can get it working for you.

    Thank You.

Thanks, but because of this issue and the other that I reported, I’ve found an alternative plugin that I’m happy with and that doesn’t interfere with WP-Members.

I’d respectfully encourage you to fix this issue for the benefit of future users who might also want to use your plugin with WP-Members, which is also quite popular.

    Best regards and best wishes.
