    I forked the plugin.

See branch “gutenberg-support”. Currently pre-pre-pre-alpha-stage. You can install it right now by manually downloading from GitHub.

    • added Crayon block to Gutenberg blocks
    • added Crayon button to RichText Format Toolbar.

    Problems:

    • When using Crayon button from RichText Format Toolbar don’t forget to manually check inline checkbox. Otherwise it will not work.
    • It looks ugly in the editor, but in page it will be ok.

I’m testing it now. I will add to www.ads-software.com my forked plugin after two or more weeks of testing and fixing.

Thank you. Can you explain what will happen to the WordPress plugin that is directly available over the plugin manager? Can you adopt this as well?

I will add my forked plugin with another name to the plugin manager. I have no rights to manage or update existing plugin.

There is a mechanism to adopt a plugin. It was posted on a different thread. It gains an immediate audience where a new plugin does not.

I just will maintain and apply fixes: when needed i will follow posting updates on how to fix possible issues on this forum.
All will be at same time published here and into this thread:
