[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] cant upload zip files

hi all.. i am using wordpress 2.7. and next gen gallery version which is one step older than the current version.

i have been using nextgen gallery with success from feb 2009. I uploaded my last gallery using a zip file last week (successfully). i have about 234 galleries till now.

Today when i tried to upload a zip file of the size around 1.7 MB and 2.8 MB, the upload failed. when i pressed upload, after some time… it gave out a blank page. a new gallery was not created!!

(in usual times, new gallery is created with the name of the zip file when the gallery is not specified)

How to resolve this issue? My server had a shift from some machine to another machine 3 weeks ago. I am using dreamhost. i asked my dreamhost support to update the changes in my wordpress installation. but i tell you, there was absolutely no problem while uploading the zip files a few days ago even when the server path settings werent changed.

so probably whats this problem all about.
