Kinda nitpicking, but isn’t writing ‘att.’ multiple times in various places redundant?
It takes up unnessecary space, and really isn’t necessary – we’ve already installed your plugin FOR attachments/media, no need to be reminded.

    Thanks for your comments.

As far as I know, the only use of the “Att.” prefix is for the two custom taxonomies MLA provides; Attachment Categories and Attachment Tags.

MLA also allows users to add attachment support for other taxonomies, such as the WordPress Categories and Tags, or WooCommerce Product Categories. When they are active, the shorter “Categories” and “Tags” labels appear multiple times in various places.

I found having multiple “Categories” labels with no way to distinguish among them confusing. Adding “Attachment” to the MLA labels was too long, so I settled on the “Att.” abbreviation.

Of course, you can always use MLA’s support for custom language files to change the labels to anything you’d prefer.

I hope that gives you a good sense of the rationale behind my terminology choices. I am marking this topic resolved, but please update it if you have any other thoughts on the subject. Thank you for your interest in the plugin.
