The test I am currently trying to perform is to register for the wpforo Forum as a completely new user. So, here’s what I’m doing and where I’m getting stuck:
    1. On the wpforo Forum, click on a topic and click Reply.
    2. A blue popup appears in the upper right corner “Please Login or Register”, which looks like it’s actually pointing to something that is outside of the window.
    3. I click Register and I’m taken to the appropriate wpforo Forum Registration screen. I enter all my info and click Register.
    4. A red popup now appears, “You cannot register with this form. Please use the registration page found on the website instead.”

We also have MemberPress installed, and member logins have been working correctly. We recently installed Login Then Logout, however I deactivated it and then retested, but the issue persisted.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

This is still either the MemberPress or Other plugins. It’s obvious that the the member login of MemberPress should work fine, but this plugin doesn’t allow other registration forms for membership reasons. Just disable all plugins and test wpForo, so you’ll see it works fine. The error doesn’t wpForo error it comes from MemberPress or from other plugins.

I recommend change wpForo registration page with your website registration page, maybe with the MemberPress registration page. it’s very easy. Just navigate to Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Members Tab, and insert website login/register/reset-pass page URLs in according field of “Custom Authorization URLs ” section. The delete all caches.

    Hello,
Just saw this post and i have a related question. If i am posting in the worng thread then please forgive me! I want to set up a moderated registration via your plugin and i want the following message displayed: “membership pending approval. You will be notified.”, how do i set up moderated registration and after the completion of which by the user, the earlier message displays? Also how do i add fields to the default registration form? Thank you for a great plugin.

A follow up to my original question: We want the wpforo forum to be publicly available, but we do want to require registration in order to avoid spam. Right now, before making the change suggested above, we have it set so that a MemberPress paid member can post in the wpforo Forum, but someone who is only registered for wpforo cannot access the members-only content, as controlled by MemberPress.
If I redirect wpforo’s login/registration page to MemberPress, won’t I be losing the ability for a public, non-paid user to post to the forum? Any suggestions?
