edit/add primary menu page description?

  • hello,
    Ive chosen this pretty amazing theme CoverNews but im facing some problems editing the page description of the primary menu like its shown in this video at minute 9:35

    in this tutorial by AF themes there is an option to edit a text box named “Description” but although I imported all the theme data I dont have this text box to edit the description text easily.

    this is how it looks for me:

    any help would be well appreciated since its very important for me to edit those in an easy way otherwise its difficult to use this theme for me.

  • You can get those descriptions to show up if you go into Appearance->Menus and then click on Screen Options at the top right. From the options that show up, make sure Description is checked and then it should show up in the Customizer window.
