    Hello!

I wanted to add a custom menu beside the logo/graphic so I made a custom header template in the library.

No matter what I do and what I set in the customize panel, I can’t get the shortcode [oceanwp_nav] to show.

    What I have done:
    Reset the scipts saved etc.
    Deleted oceanwp folder in ftp
    Deleted the browser cache
    Disabled ALL the plugins.

When all the plugins were disabled the shortcode was shown in clear so I enabled the Ocean Extra plugin. Then with that one ONLY it got hidden, and nothing works.

I know one solution is to make static links menu but it is not exactly the ideal approach.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello,

Try to use the Custom Header Nav widget instead of the shortcode to display it. To use this widget, first, assign a menu for the Main Menu location from the Dashboard > Appearance > Menus section.

Had to assign as main menu location, and it worked. Albeit ugly but it works. I can work from here. Thanks.

Glad to hear that it works.
