different header image sizes on mobile phones

  • Hello,

    i descry that the size of the header image is different on various mobile phones.

    e.g. Android: a cutout of the image with a misshapen layout
    e.g. iOS : a intense zoom in the image (the header image isn′t discernible anymore)

    Is it possible to fits the displays on mobile phones somehow?

    Hi

    Unfortunately this is one of the reasons for why the image is hidden on mobile devices by default.

    Because it is a background image that is meant to sit under the header content, it is impossible to resize the same image to work really well for both desktop and mobile, because it needs to be a certain height to fit the content, and the formats are completely different.
