• When I view the Garbage Collection ‘Last’ and ‘Next’ times, they are not showing with respect to my selected timezone. Yet when I go to Settings->General the ‘UTC’ time and the ‘local time’ are correct. I’m wondering if this issue has anything to do with why I can’t get garbage collection to run.

Agreed, mine appear to be off by about 10 hours from UTC.

    Displayed on WP-Super-Cache settings page:
    Last: 2009-07-07 09:53:37
    Next: 2009-07-07 10:03:37

    Actual current UTC time: 19:53:57
Actual current local time: 14:53:37 (-5 hours)

Not sure how it’s doing its math there, but considering that the GC just ran 20 seconds ago, it’s off by 10 (or 5) hours. Perhaps it’s applying the UTC offset value to the local time instead of to the UTC time?

However, GC is indeed running, because that time updates every so often, if I wait for it.

hmmm… okay, thanks. My GC isn’t running and I was hoping I’d finally tracked down why. When I look in the options table and find the entry for cron, I don’t see anything related to wp-super-cache in that field. I’m assuming I should see super-cache related entries in there to tell cron when to fire GC.
