• Hello!

I am using the gutenberg gallery block as picture viewer to have a consistent design on the pictures, so I opted out of using the simpler image as the captions shows different and it annoys me.

But the gutenberg gallery is not without its problems though.
I dislike when it stretches out pictures and make them blurry, so to fix it I tick the “crop” box to off. Then it shows like it should be.

But then I have different problem:

    1, most severe: Captions overflowing.

    2. Minor annoyance: Large white space between pictures when having more than 1.

I think there should be a tick box if you want it to have the maximum size of the picture itself. So if the picture itself is 400×400 the max size should be that, and not go blurry and icky, plus to fix with the captions and the spacing.

But if not, then maybe you could help me with some css tweak to get the caption to follow the boundary of the image width? I already tweaked some other things.

I love the concept of blocks, only that some parts of it feels like it should still be developed on.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]
