• I recently added the Wowzio widget to my sidebar and it looked fine on one monitor. Well I just pulled up my site on a different maching with a widescreen monitor and the widget has a problem The title appears in place, then there is white space until the evry end of my site, where the widget suddenly appears.

What can I do to bring the title and the actual widget back together. The strange thing is that it looks fine on my laptop that also has a wide screen. Ever had this happen before. If it helps I added the widget using HTML Javascript Adder.

  • Sounds like CSS problem – not a widget/plugin one. Set a max-width on your page wrapper.

How do I do that? Where do I find the page wrapper? and what should the max-width be?

    How do I do that?

    Using CSS ‘max-width’.

Where do I find the page wrapper?

    Start by looking in style.css

and what should the max-width be?

Whatever you want it to be or whatever works with that theme/design.

I am still having problems with this and now I’m thinking it may be a Firefox issue. not 100% sure yet, but I use Firefox at home and when I bring up the blog in IE is is ok. It’s just strange that it just does with with the WOZIO widget. So I had to move that widget to the bottom of my sidebar, otherwise it would push everything below the widget title to the bottom of the page. Very strange. Also I couldn’t find max-width in my style.css (I am using a tweaked version of the default WP Theme) see if you notice anything strange when looking at my blog https://www.thedoodledaily.com

    Thanks for the help
