Content disappears when I publish a new page

  • Hey,
    I created a new page on my site and uploaded several photo galleries to it. I can preview the page as a draft but the second I hit the publish button when I go to preview it again, the content disappears. It’s my photography portfolio so I kinda need it to show up!

    I’ve updated to the latest version of WP. Not sure what to do, I’ve never experienced anything like this before.

    Any help is much appreciated!

    *Does your theme have a portfolio custom post type built in? Looks like you might are using AVONDALE GENESIS theme. Are you using the Genesis framework? Contacting studiopress support would be best for theme specific issues.

    alternative to try:
    *Have you tried to reset your permalinks?
    -Make a backup of your files + database
    -Permalinks can be reset in SETTINGS area
    -Before changing permalinks, make a note of your original selection.
    -Change to another selection -Save
    -Change back to original selection -Save
