Front page not showing Read More button

  • On my front page, which is set to show my posts, it doesn’t show a Read More button for any post. I’ve tried other themes. Some have the same problem. Some don’t. Is there a way to fix this theme? It is called Winter Blues. I’ve also tried the Excerpt field but that front page is not using it.

    On the theme’s detail page, I cannot find any way to contact the author of the theme either.

  • Your theme is showing excerpts, and the post titles are links to the single post pages. It is up to the theme to have a Read More link when using excerpts.
    You can make a child theme and add another link, if you really need it.
