Post Tags

  • Dumb question – what is the difference between Post Tags vs. Meta Tags, if any.

    I have a new meta plugin but i am not sure if its working or not…

  • Post tags generally appear with the post in your blog, for example you may have tags that say: stuff, news, updates, code, tips, etc.

    Meta tags generally refers to the details (usually not displayed) of the post/page/website.

    so if a site is taking my feed (posts) whats a better way to have my posts be more ‘popular’ meta tags or post tags?.

    In other words, a job site is using my feed and I want to be one of the top results when someone searches ‘medical assistant’ (which is a typical job i have on my site) on there site….

    From an SEO perspective there may be an easy answer, unfortunately not from me … as to how another site will rank the feed they are getting from your blog, that would be wholly dependant on that site’s criteria for ranking.
