Image sizes for product pages

    Hello!

    Can anyone please tell me what the image sizes are for product pages in Woocommerce?

    Also, I have UX builder flatsome – does this theme override image sizes that are set in Woocommerce? If so, do you know how?

    I also want to know what is a good image size to aim for when it comes to my e-commerce site. I’ve heard 800 x 800 px but that seems small?

  • WooCommerce makes the image thumbnail to the size set in settings, and that image is sent to the user’s browser. On arrival, the browser will resize the image to fit the space available as allowed by the theme designer.

    For best results, find out what size your theme is displaying the images, and make the WooCommerce settings the same.

    Some themes have a lightbox to show an enlarged image on hover. 800px would be OK for that. If you make them too big, page load speed will slow down. Depends also on what you’re selling. Some sorts of items benefit from a bigger image.
