• Hi all,

I intensively searched for a solution to this issue.
There are multiple related topics but no provided solution applies to my page.

Problem: After submitting the registration form, it refreshes and nothing happens.
    – User does not receive any email (in the case of using Registration Status: Require email activation)
    – User does not get auto-approved OR submitted for Admin review
    – User does not receive any message

Actions Taken: I tried all different settings suggested.
    – Deactivated all other plugins + Changed theme (Conflict Test)
    – Uninstalled and reinstalled plugin
    – Added SSL certificate to the site
    – Changed Default user role

This is really frustrating. If you have any idea how to fix this, please let me know.
    My UM version is 2.0.42

    Hi @boosty2,

Firstly, please update to the latest 2.0.43 version of the Ultimate member core plugin.
Check that you’ve correctly assigned Ultimate member pages in Ultimate member -> Settings-> General -> Pages.

Have you setup any custom access restrictions for your pages or your site?
Do you have required fields on your form?

Please check developers console of your browser while on the register page and see if you have errors there.

    Regards.

    Hi,

    Thank you for your reply.

Did update to 2.0.4.3 and yes, pages are correctly assigned.
No custom restrictions, as mentioned I am using a fresh install now.

I do get an error in the console for the /register page
“Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 403 ()”

    Any idea?

    Hi @boosty2,

It looks like this issue can be due to your server settings.
Can you please check the error.log file of your server and see if you have errors there.

    Regards.

    Hi again,

I noticed that if I disable ModSecurity from my cPanel settings the registration page works.

But this makes my site unsecure. Do you have any recommendations?

Also, would you be able to remove the link to my site I provided in the first comment?
