Problem Saving Contact Form

  • I am seeing a strange problem. I have modified a form both in the form section and the mail section. Everything is saved and works with the changes. The next day I go back into the form and some of the changes that I made to the form have disappeared and all of the changes that I made to the mail section are gone. The first time that it happened I thought that I had done something wrong but this has now happened several times. The Contact 7 version is 5.1.1 and wordpress is at version 5.1.1.

    One more note of interest. The form is a duplicate of another form and it appears that the mail section is reverting back to that of the original form at some point.

    I created a fresh contact 7 form and copied all of the information from the duplicate form into it. This morning when I checked it, the duplicate had reverted back to the original once more but the freshly created form retained the changes that had been made.

    Today, I will make a change to the original form and see if the duplicate shows those changes tomorrow.

    There are numerous plugins and the theme is Tesseract.
