Titl Not Inserting Post Title

    I created a form with 13 fields, after mapping the post title to Fname, it will not show the the first name for example with the name i fill out the form but with “CF7 2 Post” , but when i use only the regular CF7 form it shows the post title mapped, i did the test, so i dont know what’s going on.

    Apparently you can not use the mapping without having a message box.

    sorry for the delayed response on this issue, I seem to have missed it altogether.

    what does your post title show instead?

    i fill out the form but with “CF7 2 Post”

    ‘CF7 2 Post’ is the default title for mapped post when no fields are mapped to the title. If you have mapped a field to your title, and still getting this default title it is possible your form is not being submitted properly or your mapping has an error. Check your form front-end for any javascript errors. Check also your form admin mapping page to confirm that your field is correctly mapped. For example, if you mapped your form initially and then updated your form with a change of field name then this would cause an error as the mapping is based on the old form. You would need to re-map your updated form.
