Gutenberg- using blocks with a cropped image

  • Hi,
    I have an issue with getting a cropped image into an ‘image block’ using Gutenberg.

    I have cropped an image within WordPress using version 5.1.1 and can get the cropped version onto the background of my theme, but if I try to put it within an image block, it doesn’t recognise that it has been cropped, ie it shows the original uncropped image.

    Can anyone give me any pointers please.
