I have autoplay for slides enables and this makes the webpage scroll to the top of the page where the slider is located everytime the slide changes to the next one.
Any idea why this might be happening?

    Hi @ouadielim

The problem will most likely be related to the “Scroll to slider” setting which has the “Autoplay” enabled. This means that, each time the slider changes slide the browser will be scrolled to the slider.

If you don’t want this behavior, I would suggest disabling that option.

“User interaction” will be fine, since that will only scroll to the slider if the user interacts with the slider and certain parts or the slide or the whole slider is out of the viewport.

Anyway this setting can be found at Slider Settings>General tab:

    Best regards,
    Laszlo.

Actually, you have a bug in your coding. Even when the autoplay is switched off, the page still scrolls up to the slider. Also the same problem when User Interaction is switched on & Autoplay off.
    Running WP5.2 & PHP7.2

    Hi @yoyomamate!

Are you trying to turn off the “autoplay” at the “Scroll to” setting?:
    https://smartslider3.helpscoutdocs.com/article/56-slider-settings-general
Because we have an Autoplay setting, which doesn’t have a connection to this, so only the “Scroll to – autoplay” matters in this case.

If you are turning that off, do you have cache on your website? Often that causes the issue, that it is not cleared. It is also very common, that people are editing another slider from what they are watching. But it is 100% sure, that the “Scroll to” setting causes the problem, so if you wouldn’t be able to figure out the problem, please send us a link to your website also an export of your slider:

    Hi @srz0201

I checked the linked page, but I couldn’t find any Smart Slider 3 sliders published on that page.
Anyway this topic was already marked as resolved.

Could you please open a support ticket instead at:
