Reset custom order for product categories

Thanks for answering! I tried a bunch of those plugins but I need something that can reorder all categories at once automatically, since I have so many.
I have also tried to make a new sorting option instead of the default one but that only worked on products and not categories.

@idakristoffersson I wrote a little plugin that should do what you are looking for. I suggest running it on a copy of your site before trying it on your live site, perhaps by using WP Staging: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-staging/

Install it, activate it, view your site once, and then you can deactivate it.

What it does is go through the product categories and removes the order meta key. This resets the order to alphabetical.

Hi! I have similar problem.

I need to reset woocommerce product sorting, because I use sorting by a third-party plugin. After I removed the product from the category and then added it again, sorting is displayed on my site using the built-in woocommerce sorting, but I need sorting by my third-party plugin.
