    Hello!

Before I knew how to put through a free order (which I assume the only way is to add a coupon because putting -$10 in the fees thing doesn’t work) I put through a lot of orders as completed and now they are completely ruining my stats. I can’t just delete all my orders as much as I’d like to because I only sell digital products…..so is there a way I can reset all my stats to zero? I’m happy to go into the database or what ever needs to be done, I just need this reset. It’s giving me completely misleading information about my products and what customers want and like and due to this I can’t grow as a business.

    Thanks for your help!!

    Hey there!

You can change the price of your items in the admin order when you place it.

Why is it that you can’t delete the extra orders? What exactly are you trying to do? Are you using the built-in WooCommerce stats?

    Let us know!

Hi Andrew! Thanks so much for your reply!!

I can’t delete those orders because I can’t tell the difference between the ones I placed and the ones that were ordered by customers. There’s dozens of both (mostly my orders though). The items also didn’t show an edit field back when I did this, and would show up as $0 when added, but then when I marked the order as completed it would show the full price most of the time.

I’ve also got an issue with people buying the same thing over and over not realising they already have it. I’ve got sold individually ticked on all my items but that doesn’t work when they come back to it. I’m looking for a solution to that now that shows them a download button instead of a buy button.

I am using Woocommerces built in report feature to read and understand stats. I want to get the full plugin but I’m not sure how much it will help. I’m trying to understand which products my customers want. I guess I could just keep moving forward. Some of the stats are useful like guest vs member sales but then again it’s counting guest downloads when they belong to a customer order and I require sign in to download so no idea what’s going on there.

@alundra Stats are based on the orders that exist, so if the orders exist they will be included in the stats. If you’re wanting to have your manual testing orders not counted, they will need to be deleted.

The issue with someone purchasing the same thing again is remedied through one of the snippets on this page:

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
